How BIMI Works

BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) allows your brand logo to appear next to your emails in recipients' inboxes. This increases brand visibility, builds trust, and helps recipients identify legitimate emails from your organization.

When an email passes DMARC authentication, the receiving email client looks up your BIMI record to find your logo URL, then displays the logo in the inbox view.

SVG Tiny PS Requirements

Your logo must comply with SVG Tiny PS (Portable/Secure) format:

  • Square aspect ratio — Width must equal height (1:1)
  • viewBox attribute — Required on the root SVG element
  • No JavaScript — Script elements are forbidden
  • No animations — No animate, animateTransform, or animateMotion elements
  • No external references — No links to external files or URLs
  • No foreignObject — Embedded HTML/XML is not allowed
  • File size — Keep under 32KB for best performance
